Chef Steve McHugh brings charcuterie, salumi, and other hand-made, farm-to-table dishes to the carefully restored Administration Building at the historic Pearl Brewery. From the overall concept and name to materials selection, working closely with the chef ensured an open, warm atmosphere that showcases food preparation and encourages interaction between guests, cooks and servers alike. Carefully documented details allowed the recreation of original coffered ceilings while salvaged wood desks find a second life as restroom vanities. A zinc bar top will patina over time to add character and unique charm to this great San Antonio eatery.
