UT vs. C&L

University of Texas sophomore architecture students took on one of C&L’s most recent hospitality renovation projects and reimagined it with a completely

different program.

The students were assigned to create an indoor pool and spa for the South Austin area around Trophy’s Bar and Grill. After an interesting trip to the site to examine the crude conditions that they were to work with started the 3-week schedule for the project. Ken Johnson, C&L project architect for the job, was invited to sit as a visiting critic for the students’ completed projects. The students came up with many creative and well thought out solutions in a short period of time. Look out Austin, there is some young talent coming up at UT!
